The Jersey Shore, Bay Head, c1903

Located on less the two miles of New Jerseys northern coastline, Bay Head remains much the same today as it did a century ago, with quaint and classy appeal and quiet beaches. In 2012, the town was put on high alert as Hurricane Sandy moved up the coast. Luckily, a sea wall that was constructed in the late 1800s, and restored in the 1960s, helped minimize damage.
