An impressive 1932 enhanced photographic panoramic view map of the San Francisco Bay area. Oriented to the east, this view covers the entire bay and the San Francisco Peninsula from Novato and Napa to San Jose. Important cities, communities, buildings, parks, and geographical features are individually labeled. In the distances, Sacramento, Stockton, and Fresno, among other cities, are noted. Below the map several text blocks feature statistics on the Bay Area as well as a message from Dr. Julius Klein, Assistant Secretary of Commerce. The view was issued by the Pacific Gas and Electric Company for presentation to the San Francisco Bay Industrial Committee in 1932.
