A highly appealing 1912 large format folio map of Washington County, New York, issued for the New Century Atlas of Counties of the State of New York. The map covers from Lake George and Putnam, to Easton, including Dresden, Whitehall, Hampton, Fort Ann, Granville, Hartford, Kingsbury, Hebron, Fort Edward, Argyle, Greenwich, Salem, Cambridge, Jackson and White Creek. The Dresden and Putnam areas are presented in an inset map in the upper left quadrant. There is appealing detail throughout with the roads, towns, and railroad lines clearly represented. Various communities are identified with larger districts highlighted in vivid pastels. This map was issued as plate nos. 244 and 245 in Everts' New Century Atlas of Counties of the State of New York.
